These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry/claim instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions and by participating all claimants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms and Conditions. Please print a copy of these Terms and Conditions and retain for future reference.
- The Promoter: pladis (UK) Limited, Building 3, Chiswick Park, 566 Chiswick High Road, Chiswick, London W4 5YA (please do not send any correspondence to this address). (“Promoter”).
- Eligibility: Entry is open to wholesale business account customers of selected Wholesale Outlets, and pladis sales representatives in the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland), entrants must be aged 18 or over. The following are excluded from entry:
- Directors, management and employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies.
- Employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter, or any third parties who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; and
- Members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
- Requirements: Purchase, wholesale business account and mobile phone are necessary to enter. Please retain an original itemised invoice that states the time and date of purchase, as this will be required to enter and in order for winners to receive their Prize.
- Entrants who purchase a qualifying case in their role as an employee of a business must have their employer’s permission to enter this promotion or to accept the prize and must comply with any relevant procedures their employer has established, including any rules for participating in promotions. For the avoidance of doubt, an entrant is the person/entity named on the invoice.
- Promotional Period: Purchase and enter between 00:00 GMT on 14th April 2025 and 23:59 GMT 22nd June 2025 inclusive (the “Closing Date”).
- Entry Instructions: The mobile number must be linked to an active account with a recognised telephone services provider. The account holder must be the same person completing the Registration details indicated below.
To enter:
Step 1 – Purchase a minimum of one qualifying case per valid purchase receipt per entry (as per clause 12).
Step 2 – Scan the QR code on the point of sale in a depot or on the promotional case or send a text to 66222 with the keyword “win” to enter, you’ll receive a text back with a link to a form to enter your full name, business details, and mobile number and upload a copy of a valid purchase receipt/invoice. Alternatively, go directly to www.mcvities100.co.uk to submit the above details.
Step 3 – Valid entries have a chance of winning a monetary prize. The prizes are detailed in Clause 11. Winners are notified instantly. Each Winner is subject to validation of their receipt/invoice. The Winner will forfeit their prize if they cannot provide evidence of a valid purchase as detailed in clause 7.
Step 4 – Wait for your entry and win to be validated this may take up to 7 days. Your purchase receipt/invoice will be checked to ensure you have made the purchase of a qualifying case.
Step 5 – Valid Winners will receive a link via text to the number provided in the entry. The link will request Business bank details to be provided. The bank account must be a business account relevant to the business named on the purchase invoice/receipt.
Step 6 – Subject to verification, Winners will receive their prize within 28 days via BACS transfer.
- Till receipts/Invoices must show the purchase a minimum of one qualifying case per clause (12), and must pre-date the date/time that entry is made Whilst we want you to enjoy this promotion, we discourage excessive inventory. Please do not purchase more products than you can reasonably use or display to increase your chances of winning.
- Text entries will be charged at your standard network rate and may not be included in any inclusive text message package. The bill payer’s permission must be obtained prior to entering. Entrants are advised to take care when entering the text code and entry details; the Promoter is not responsible for typographical errors and incorrect texts may still be charged. Only correct entries that have followed the instructions will be accepted. Capital letters or lower-case letters will both be accepted.
- The Promoter will not accept:
- Responsibility for entries that are late, incorrect, illegible, incomplete, defaced, corrupt, lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, hardware or software failure of any kind or any other reason; or
- Proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the Prize Promotion.
- No third-party or bulk entries. Entries via third parties or syndicates, entries by macros or other automated means and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these Terms and Conditions in full will be disqualified. If it becomes apparent that either an entrant or household or business is using any means to circumvent this condition such as, and without limitation, fraudulently falsifying data, acting fraudulently or dishonestly in the opinion of the Promoter using identities other than their own or any other automated means in order to increase the entrant’s entries or otherwise acting in violation of these terms, these entrants will be disqualified, and any prize entitlement will be void. Entrants are advised to take care when entering their details; the Promoter is not responsible for mistypes.
- Prizes: There are a total of one thousand and eight (1008) cash prizes available to be won, all cash prizes to be won with the following chance to win a particular value.

- Winner Selection During the main Promotional Period, 1,008 “variable winning moments" every 100 minutes by the millisecond, have been randomly selected by a computer-generated algorithm. The first valid entry on or after that winning moment on the promotions servers will be awarded the Prize. If an entrant wins one of the 1,008 prizes through a winning moment, the specific prize value will then be determined by the instant win algorithm based on predefined odds in clause 11. Winners will be notified of their win and prize on-screen but this win will be subject to validation of their receipt/invoice. The Winner will forfeit their prize if they cannot provide evidence of a valid purchase as detailed in clause 7.
Winner Notification: It may take up to 7 days for your win to be validated. Your purchase receipt/invoice will be checked to ensure you have made the purchase of a qualifying cases. Once a valid win has been confirmed, Winners will receive a text message containing a unique and secure link to provide their business bank details (see Clause 6 Step 5) and accept the prize. If the winner does not provide their details within 14 days of initial notification via text, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner.
- Purchase necessary. Winners may be requested to provide the original purchase invoice/receipt of the copy uploaded on entry into the promotion. This invoice/receipt must pre-date entry and be within the promotional period. Any person attempting to circumvent this condition by using alternative details will be disqualified.
- There is no alternative prize, in whole or part. The prize is not transferable. The decisions of the Promoter are final in relation to the promotion.
- Prize Delivery: The Promoter’s agency will collect the winner’s name, business name, address and UK business bank details via a data collection form, the link to which will be sent by text sent to each winner. Cash prizes will be awarded via BACS within 28 days of a valid claim.
- Winners are advised to discuss any HMRC liability incurred by winning a cash prize with their tax advisor.
- Entrants acknowledge that the Promoter may be prevented from providing some or all of the Prize elements due to unforeseen circumstances. In such circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute or cancel some or all of the Prize and neither the Promoter nor the Companies accept responsibility in these circumstances.
- The Promoter reserves the right to amend or withdraw the Promotion if deemed necessary due to circumstances outside of its reasonable control.
- The Promoter’s decision is final on all matters relating to the Promotion.
- If the Promoter has reasonable grounds for believing that an entrant has contravened the Terms and Conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative Winner.
- The Winners’ surnames and counties can be requested by sending a stamped self-addressed envelope to ‘8400 McVitie’s -100 years B2B’ Winners List, PO Box 906, Chilton, Aylesbury, HP22 9HR and will be available for a period of 4 weeks from 22/06/2025.
- Entrants acknowledge that when a third party asks for confirmation of a winner of a competition a promoter is required to provide the name of that winner and the county that he or she lives in. Any winner may object to their information being made available in this way or may request that the amount of information made available be reduced, by contacting the Promoter via email with the subject title ‘8400 McVitie’s -100 years B2B’ at info@winners-list.com. In these circumstances the winner acknowledges that the Promoter may nevertheless disclose such information in full to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so.
- Entrants must enter the Promotion using their Business name. The Promoter will verify the eligibility of prize winners. The Promoter will require such information that it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose and a Prize may be withheld unless and until the Promoter is satisfied with the verification.
- Where a Winner has been found to be in breach of any of these Terms and Conditions and in particular where a person is in breach of the entry restrictions, the Promoter may nevertheless still enforce its right to disqualify that person and require the return or reimbursement to the Promoter of any Prize even where a prize has been awarded and/or actually provided to the entrant or Winner in question.
- The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever, except for death or personal injury, arising out of the administration of prize draws, or out of the winner’s or any third party’s enjoyment of the prizes.
- If, for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any written directions given under applicable law) to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion.
- If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation.
- Winners may be invited to participate in reasonable publicity arising from the Promotion with no further compensation.
- This Promotion is governed by English Law and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
